The many volunteers who show their love with their service have added so very much to our ministry, it is
immeasurable.
We need your help! We're developing teams of volunteers
for the following areas:
Parking
If you are looking for an opportunity to exercise while you worship, join the Parking Team! Welcome all cars into, and out of The Gathering safely and easily. Time requirement: arrive 1 hour before the service and stay after to help all cars exit. If you're strongly opposed to fender-benders, we would love to have your help! Come armed
with a smile, and running shoes are a MUST! - Scott Marshall

Greeters
Welcoming all comers to The Gathering with a smile and friendly “Hello”. Hand out the message outline and other material as needed. Assist with receiving the offering - Steve & Hilda Jones & Richard Rice

Kids
Gathering
A warm friendly smile is a must and a passion to help kids learn about God in a fun environment while they Gather with other kids, Grow in their faith, and then learn to Give back to God in their community as
well as throughout the world.
Kids
Valet Team
(help escort the families to the Kids Gathering area) (arrive 15 min before service to help escort kids/parents to their
designated age appropriate room)
Greeters/Security
Table
(sign in for security of the kids) (arrive 15 min before service to help sign in children/parents. This team needs to
remain at the table in case there may be an emergency to report )
Babies
(arrive 15 min. early and remain in with them until the parent
picks them up from worship- total time 1 hr 30 min.)
Toddlers/Preschool
(arrive 15 min. early and remain in with them until
the parent picks them up from worship- total time 1 hr 30 min.)
Elementary Age --
Kindergarten - 4th Grade
(arrive 15 min. early and remain in with them until the parent picks them up from worship- total
time 1 hr 30 min.) This age will have a lesson plan to prepare.
Snack
Team
- bring snacks for children during the worship time. Ex. juice /crackers - Paula Foster

Prayer Team
The only requirement is that you have a heart for prayerful worship. We ask that you be willing to pray throughout the week for any and all
of the following:
- Individual prayer requests submitted by attendees of The Gathering
- God’s guidance and leadership of the body of the church
- The leadership team, both as a group and as individuals
- Dave and Paula Foster
In addition, if you feel comfortable doing so, we also need individuals willing to pray with people who are hurting and need prayer and Christian fellowship at The Gathering. This is not mandatory to be on the prayer team, but we ask that you consider being willing to step
outside your comfort zone and help other seekers in need
We also need volunteers willing to participate in prayer request follow-up by calling, sending cards, sending emails or even

Volunteer Signups
& Development
The goals of the Volunteer sign up and development team are
to provide worshipful service to God by:
- Recruiting and organizing volunteers
- Assist team leaders with the staffing needs of their volunteer teams
- Attempt to anticipate new teams as the need for them arises and repeat (1) and (2) for the new teams.
If you love organizing and helping others to discover which area of service is a FIT (Faith In Translation) for them, then please

Welcome Center, Database, and Phone Team
Maintain the comprehensive database of all attendees of The Gathering. Work with the team leader to develop targeted databases for new ministries within The Gathering as they are created. Assist in making telephone contact with attendees that do not have email addresses in order to keep them up to date on news, events, and

Music Team
Could you email us with your particular gifts and interests? (you know, what instruments do you play, etc. . .) We won't be holding "auditions", but rather do our best to plug folks in where they are most comfortable. Our main goal is to keep it Real and Uncomplicated, keeping in mind that you all are volunteers, and we don't want to abuse or take undue advantage of you. So, please email and please pray. And, by all means, come up to us at church

Audio Team
Audio team members help with the setup, operation, and take-down of the portable sound system for each service. Some heavy lifting is required with setup and take-down, and some experience with audio mixing is required for operation of the system. If a volunteer is helping with all phases, setup through take-down, the time commitment will be about 5-6 hr. for a single service. Please submit a request below, or say "hello" to us Sunday - Dave

We need geeks. We love geeks! Here are
some areas we need help with:
- Offering live audio webcast of the services
- Working towards an audio/video solution for potential satellite locations
- Better communication and infrastructure for staff and volunteers (a
Gathering Server somewhere for e-mail, file storage, etc., with good WAN access)
- A main phone number and virtual lines... through Vonage or similar VOIP service.
- More interactive features for the website (forum, chat, downloads, etc)
